ENT Specialist/Registrar

Roles & Responsibilities

Plans, directs, administers and supervises activities for ENT patients. Responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.

  • Ensure implementation of Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical staff by laws, Rules and Regulation and the ENT Department Policy and Guidelines.
  • Deal with patients suffering from chronic sinusitis.
  • Treat diseases of the larynx, esophagus, and upper aero-digestive tract, including swallowing and voice disorders. Medical specialists treating problems in the head and neck regions deal with tumours, infectious diseases, deformities and facial trauma.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to ENT department.
  • Run his/her own clinic.
  • Provide supervision to the department.
  • Help in professional development of all staff.
  • Ensure safety of patients and staff.
  • Provide teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education

MD/Master’s degree, Otorhinolaryngology

Minimum Requirements

10 years’ experience

Required Certification

Valid License and registration.

Beautician

Roles & Responsibilities

To Perform a range of Beauty treatments using advance technology, under the supervision of the the doctors. To interact with the patients and make the patient comfortable, during the treatment. Inform the patients, about the various services offered in the dermatology department of the hospital.

  • Facial cleaning/treatment, and crystal peeling.
  • Have a through knowledge, about all the procedures / treatments to be performed.
  • Guide the patients to the respective treatment rooms.
  • Answer the queries of the patients, regarding the procedures / treatments performed.
  • Follow strictly the procedures / treatment as directed by the hospital.
  • Fill in the necessary data, about the procedures/ treatments, in the desired forms provided (pre and post to the treatment).
  • Maintain proper record of each patient.
  • Prepare the room prior to the procedures and clean it after procedure.
  • Handle the machines and other equipment with care.
  • Maintain the hygiene standard, during the procedure /treatment desired by the hospital.
  • Lead the patient to the billing counter, on completing the treatment.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education

Bachelor degree of Cosmetic and Science Technology

Minimum Requirements

3 to 4 years’ experience.

Required Certification

Valid License and registration.

Graphic Designer (Kuwaiti National-Female)

Roles & Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer Designs or creates graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs,

such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative

effects.

  • Meeting with clients and adjusting designs to fit their needs or taste
  • Using computer software to execute designs
  • Working with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to
    complete the final product

Ophthalmologist

Roles & Responsibilities

Assessing and examining patients in order to make a diagnosis;

Managing busy general outpatient clinics, emergency eye clinics and specialist clinics;

Carrying out surgical procedures using an operating microscope, small incision (keyhole) surgery, laser surgery, etc.;

Ward rounds, but this is limited as most ophthalmic patients have day surgery and do not stay in hospital overnight;

Working well as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes optometrists, orthoptists and nurses;

Handling legal documentation for the certification of patients as blind or partially sighted;

Supporting health promotion and disease prevention activities.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education

PhD/Royal College/Fellowship/Membership

Required Certification : Valid License and registration.

Minimum Requirements

5 years experience with minimum 3 years post Fellowship/Membership experience in relevant specialty.

Sales Representative

Job purpose:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. He/she will manage the quality and consistency of product and service delivery, which includes servicing new customers and creating new ideas to increase sales market services and perform basic administration functions as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining sustainable records of sales achievements/quotas which requires knowledge of organization’s range of products and /or medical services as well as organization’s policies.
  • Undergo required special training for sales of certain products and/or medical services.
  • Present and sell company products and medical services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact them and other accounts as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Required:   

Minimum of 2 years of experience in field of marketing, sales representative and ideally with experience in pharmaceutical sales services to health care professionals or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Specific Skills/Knowledge:         

Good oral & written communication skills; Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provides prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.

  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Compounds, labels and packages medications and pharmaceuticals
  • Advises patients and family on use of various medications including dosage, side effects and composition.
  • Ensures secure storage of narcotics and other controlled substances on a regular basis.
  • Checks stock on a regular basis to identify and reorder outdated stock and ensure that stock is maintained in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
  • Assists in preparing required reports by compiling information.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshop.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.

Experience Required:

Prior experience working in pharmacies.

Staff Nurse

Job purpose: Provides professional nurse care for clinic patients following the established standards and practices, Nurses will be work directly with patients and their families in coordination with physicians.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees appointment bookings and ensures that preferences are given to patients in emergency situations.  Maintains timely flow of patients.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.  Maintains and stocks the department as per department par level.
  • Greets patients and prepares them for examination.  Screens patients for appropriate information.  Instructs patients in collection of specimen and preparation for (lab, x-ray, etc.) tests.
  • Arranges for patient testing and admissions with another department.
  • Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions as ordered.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years experience in tertiary healthcare setting.
